Week 9, Task 6: Web 3.0

Web 2.0 is the "current generation" of internet technology that we are using. With it, we can perform all of the tasks we associate with the internet: working, shopping, communicating, researching, but there is a limit to it, and to how much a computer understands. Web 3.0 is the next patch, or upgrade that is predicted to happen to the internet. It will stem from things such as the semantic web, where a computer can read items designed for humans, and reaches towards the first artificial intelligence is expected. It will give us a much wider understanding of the internet through direct communications with other machines, rather than the pages they hold within them.
