Young people who use social networking sites were issued a warning on November 23rd 2007 by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). The office found that over half of the people it surveyed had put most of their personal details online. Meanwhile, 71 per cent of 14 to 21-year-olds reported that they wouldn't want potential employers to do a search on them. The ICO is concerned that the majority of people don't realise that the information they provide on social networking sites could be traceable in the future.

I think this summary here is useful....what are your thoughts on it though? Do you think students use things such as Facebook with a view to future employers?
